After graduating with a BA in History, Trudi completed her certificate in teaching. While waiting for a teaching position to come available, she obtained work at a local university in the book ordering section, and eventually moved into a management position in the library’s Circulation Department.
These experiences provided her with excellent writing, editing, research and proofreading skills. She is also an excellent trainer and proficient at writing manuals. Her company, The Corporate Word, produces all manner of written communication materials for clients in the business, arts, advertising and education fields. She has become recognized as an expert in transforming difficult and complex concepts into understandable prose.
